Interesting review ... I laughed; I cried; I'm sure glad I got to see him in Major Barbara!

Have you ever noticed that no matter how bad a production is, reviewers never have anything bad to say about DW's performance? This comment is so typical: "I just wish that, after all this time, Warner could have found a better role to match his imposing presence." Has he been reading our chatboard??

BTW, don't any of you DW fans who got to see it have any comments about it? Was it really more sloth than sleuth?

Now that you mention it, it does seem that we rarely get to see David Warner with a grin on his face. How many roles or scenes can we name in which we get to see our hero smile?
