Subject: Our Own Witch Hunt

A lot of you aren't going to like this because liberals tended to be above this sort of thing in the past. I think we should follow the Republican lead and start an investigation into Bush's questionable behavior. The Republicans did a lot of damage, and I personally think they won the past election, by constantly accusing Clinton of various things. Then, they spent millions of taxpayer money to find out that he had extramarital affairs, something almost everyone knew he was doing. They still aren't done. The pardon thing seems to stretch on indefinitely. They are trying to keep making Democrats look bad in preparation for the 2002 election. I think we should do the same thing. I know it's dirty and political discussions should be about real issues. But, if they keep playing dirty we'll have to do the same if we want to keep people like Bush out of office. If you want to take the moral high ground, I have two words for you, President Lott. How can we get our own witch hunt going? There are so many examples of the skeletons in Bush's closet on the GWBUSH forum. Is there any way we could get a highly publicized investigation into any of these? Plus, how can we get the not-so-liberal media to talk about them as much as they talked about Clinton's indiscretions? As we've seen, mere accusations are enough to taint someone's image. We've got to counteract the damage that's been done to the Democratic image.
