Subject: New members?

Hi All,

There has been some interest expressed at the GWBUSH forum about getting more organized. I sent out a few invites to a few of those folks.

Keeping my fingers crossed and putting on my thinking cap.

Few things to think about in the meantime -

what is it that we want to accomplish?
how do we go about doing it?
How about some essays/commentaries/editorials by participants?
Set up a "Poster of the week" feature?
mutual Links to other sites?

one of the biggest problems is getting connected on more than an internet level. Whether its GWBUSH.com or other forums, participants are from all over the place. Organizing a protest with that type of logistics can be difficult. We can link, participate with other sites like the votermarch or democrats.com to help spread the word, as well as individually participating in their protests/actions.

The main thing is to get local - to gather talking points, talk up the inconsistencies and lies the press is not covering - to inform the people in your own community.

To toss out a idea - we set up a main site with articles etc., and a main posting board. Off of that main posting board, we can spin off to more "local boards" - i.e one for each state, then break down further as membership from localities increase. This will encourage people from the same area to start getting into face-to-face meetings and planning.
