Dear Joe:

I am so outraged by the House action today to sidetrack Campaign Finance Reform that I sent this to Castle and now to my Senators too. None of you will get my support for a
Presidential bid if we don't get Finance Reform.

I saw this as a line note on my web browser tonight, almost hidden by the
trash news about Condit-Levy. I know that the Senate passed this
bill, but I have concluded that when the politicians don't serve my interests
that I can best be sure of punishing the guilty by voting and campaigning
against all incumbents. Therefore, that is what I intend to do, so you had
better find a way to help this bill back on track, or you'll have a vocal,
moneyed antagonist in me and any I can influence.

I have come to this strategy, because I have seen too many cases of your
associates playing such games that we can't tell who actually is stopping
the good legislation behind the scenes. I hope I can convince others that
we should "throw out all the rascals" to be sure we get a new crop who will
take a while before they figure out how to say one thing but do another.

Surely you all can see that this kind of action makes you all look like
self-seekers wanting to keep special interest money to help you stay in
power. How can we trust any of you to do what's right for the common citizen?

I'm sending this note to our Senators, because I don't absolve you,
since you may all be chuckling at how cleverly you made yourselves look good
while counting on the retrogressive House to do the dirty work to stop it.

I say " A pox on all your houses". You are convincing me that our system is
firmly in the hands of special interests, and the public be damned. If you
think I may be a little upset by this skullduggery, you're absolutely right.

Your former supporter, J.W. Moore (+ family and friends and anyone I can
persuade to the same outrage)
