Points in favour:

There are plenty of hotels in Phoenix, many of which could hold a WhoserCon right on site, plus there's great weather for swimming outdoors, lots of shopping opportunities, and IMPROV! The troupe that I work with, ComedySportz, could perform for WhoserCon. People also have the option of going to The Improv in Tempe to see a live show. And best of all, people in the West can attend more easily, with affordagble travel in and out of Phoenix

they would definitely have enough improv/dining/accommodations to support a convention like the Whosers'.
