 Thomas D., you can't mix oil and water (except in an emulsion?), nor can you mix a theocracy with democracy. A theocracy is based on absolute OBEDIENCE at all times to the edicts of God or god or whatever clergy can think of, while democracy is based on a fictional rule by the population (actually a temporary dictatorship of the majority representatives' party, selected from time to time among only [a very?] few alternatives at election time).
