In the event of rain, there is some shelter around the hall, in the form of a canopy which covers the pavement (ie sidewalk) which runs right round the hall. The stewards will generally move as much of the queue as possible under cover, I think they've sometimes managed to supply some spare umbrellas from the hall as well. You can probably also find somewhere that will sell you a cheap "golfing" umbrella along Kensington High Street as well. That said we're usually fairly lucky with the weather on the last day, in the seven I hae so far attended, I can remember significant amounts of rain on only one of the, the majority have been warm and sunny (I've now probably cursed the weather of course).

I forgot to sayin my previous message that if you have to talk to security, rather than the stewards, they're are not always the most friendly and welcoming people, so don't take it personally if they're not very helpful.
