Mind you, the one which even I would be prepared to queue up all day for, or pay the £ludicrous price of decent seats, would be Pierre Boulez conducting LNOP :-). Maybe some late Schoenberg and electro-acoustic stuff in the first half. Pli selon Pli before Pomp and Circumstance, Explosante-fixe before Jerusalem, that sort of thing. Some of his legendary wit in the speech, maybe some references to his long passed urge to blow up opera houses. Definitely worth queueing for!
