It popped through my letterbox this morning, my having ordered it online so long ago I can't exactly remember when!
Spoiler warning (if you enjoy the thrill of hearing it from Mr K himself)! A few snippets mostly beyond the previous rumours are below should you be interested:
First Night under JB: includes Dvorak Te Deum, ends with Shostakovich 5.
Beethoven 9 is with Christoph Eschenbach - can't remember the band.
One of the BPO/Rattle concerts ends with Bruckner 7. The rest is mainly Mozart and a Symanowski Violin Concerto.
Last Night conductor is Mark Elder. Soloists Viktoria Mullova and Dmitri Hvorosostovsky.
Gergiev conducts Tchaik 6 (LSO), Shostakovich 13 and L.M. of Mtensk (Kirov) on consecutive days.
As far as I recall, Shostakovich 1,2,3,9,11,12,14 are absent, so no symphony cycle.
IIRC, Prokofiev 5 is absent for a change! However, Firebird and Rite of Spring are there somewhere, along with Symphonie Fantastique, Daphis et Chloe and numerous other regulars.
There's an all John Adams BBCSympathy concert cond Adams, incl "My Father Knew Charles Ives" and "Harmonielehre" which might be ok.
And somewhere is what is billed as the world premiere of "Elgar's Pomp & Circumstance March No 6".
Generally speaking there seems to be a noticeable dearth of big choral stuff. Don't know why that should be... Though there is Walton's Belshazzar's Feast and Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky, the latter in some sort of choral/voice day thing.
