The results of this year's rumour-mongering are in.

Working from my collated list, then:-

19 July: St.Paul's Cathedral Choir, Hickox: Delius "Sea Drift", Holst "Hymn of Jesus" CORRECT! Bach Choir? No, BBC NOW and Chorus under Otaka. Also up are Elgar's Cockaigne and Enigma.

21 July: Prague Philharmonia/Belohlavek CORRECT! As suggested: Mozart (Sym 38 plus a couple of arias), Myslivicek ("Che non mi disse in di!") and Novak (Melancholic Songs of Love) - also Vejvanovski Sonata Vespertiana a 8 and Martinu's Double concerto for piano, timpani and strings.

22 July: BBC Philharmonic/Noseda - Casken "Broken Consort" CORRECT! Also on the bill is the Ravel Piano concerto (Aimard) and Stravinsky's Firebird.

23 July: Ensemble Modern Orchestra/Benjamin - Grigny "Recit de Tierce en Taille", Messiaen "Des Canyons aux Etoiles", Benjamin "Palimpsest I/II" CORRECT!

28 July: LPO/Masur - Janacek Glagolitic Mass CORRECT! Also Schubert Symphony No.8

30 July: Bavarian RSO/Jansons: Dvorak Symphony No.8, Strauss "Ein Heldenleben" CORRECT!

31 July: Bavarian RSO/Jansons: Shostakovich Violin Concerto No.1 (Gidon Kremer, vn), Tchaikovsky Symphony No.6 CORRECT!

1 August: Britten War Requiem CORRECT! LSO & Chorus under Sir Colin Davis

2 August: BBCSO/Tan Dun Concerto (Glennie) CORRECT!

5 August: Anne Sofie von Otter CORRECT! Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra under Gilbert - songs by Sibelius, Alfven and Stenhammer.

6 August: Truls Mørk - CORRECT! BBC NOW/Otaka playing the Dvorak Cello Concerto. Also Takemitsu "Twill by Twilight", Ravel "Sheherazade" and Respighi "Pines of Rome".

6 August: National Youth Orchestra of Scotland/Loughran - WRONG! NYOS not appearing this year.

7 August: National Youth Orchestra/Norrington - Smetana "Ma Vlast", Mahler Symphony No.1 CORRECT!

9 August: Messiaen "Poemes pour Mi" (Brewer) CORRECT -ish, it is Bullock not Brewer. BBCSSO under Volkov, also Beethoven 7, and 'Overture de feerie' from Sheherazade.

10 August: Academy of Ancient Music/Goodwin - Biber "Missa Bruxellensis", Muffat "Sonata V in G Major", Bach "Magnificat" CORRECT!

14 August: Saint-Saens Symphony No.3 'Organ' (Dame Gillian Weir) CORRECT! BBC Concert Orchestra, Viennese music in second half.

19 August: Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment/Rattle - Wagner "Das Rheingold" CORRECT!

20 August: Humperdinck "Hansel and Gretel" CORRECT! BBC Concert Orchestra.

26 August: Glyndebourne Opera - Rakhmaninov "The Miserly Knight", Puccini "Gianni Schicci" CORRECT!

27 August: Wagner "Wesendonck Lieder" and "Liebestod" (Voigt) CORRECT! RPO/Gatti

30 August: Oslo Philharmonic/Previn - Debussy "Prelude a l'apres midi d'un faune", Previn Violin Concerto (Anne-Sofie Mutter, vn), Prokofiev Symphony No.5 CORRECT!

31 August: King's Consort - Monteverdi Vespers 1610 CORRECT!

? August: Australian Youth Orchestra/Foster CORRECT! Matinee performance on Bank Holiday 30th August.

? August: Monteverdi Choir/Gardner - Bach B Minor Mass

2 September: BBC NOW/Llewellyn - Songs by Kurt Weill (Ruthie Henshall) CORRECT! Songs are from "Lady in the Dark".

3 September: Dresdner Staatskapelle/Haitink CORRECT! Mozart 41 and Bruckner 7

4 September: Dresdner Staatskapelle/Haitink CORRECT! Bartok Dance Suite, Dvorak 7 and Haydn 86.

5 September: Berliner Philharmoniker/Rattle CORRECT! Schoenberg Variations for Orchestra, Beethoven 9 (with CBSChorus).

6 September: Berliner Philharmoniker/Rattle CORRECT! Messiaen Eclairs sur l'Au Dela and Debussy La mer.

8 September: Czech Philharmonic - Dvorak "Scherzo Capriccio", Violin Concerto, Symphony No.9 CORRECT! Sir Charles Mackerras conducting, Sarah Chang in the Dvorak.

9 September: Les Arts Florissantes/Christie - Charpentier CORRECT! Requiem, Te Deum and Messe pour plusieurs instruments au lieu des orgues.

BBC Scottish SO - Messiaen "Turangalila Symphony" WRONG! At least for this season - Turanga is being performed this year by the London Sinfonietta on 13 August.

Cleveland Orchestra/Welser-Most - originally thought to be in August, but later rumoured to have withdrawn - CORRECT - as far as we can tell as the orchestra isn't appearing this season.

Birmingham Opera Company - Britten "Curlew River" CORRECT! 28th July.

CBSO/Oramo, Leon McCawley CORRECT! Stravinsky's 'Petrushka', Bernstein Chichestr Psalms and Ives Symphony No.4

London Sinfonietta, Michael Collins (Clarinet) - OOOOH - Collins is playing the Corigliano concerto on 1 September but it is with the BBCSO and Slatkin. See another thread for details of this one.

Royal Philharmonic/Gatti - CORRECT - they are playing on 27 August (see above)

Zuckerman Chamber Players - WRONG - actually Zuckerman is here himself playing the Elgar concerto with the BBCSO and Sir Andrew Davis.

Swedish Chamber Orchestra/?Dausgaard - CORRECT! 23 August, playing pieces by Rabe, HK Gruber, Kraus and Beethoven.

Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra under McGegan - WRONG!

New work by Hellawell with Clio Gould on violin - WRONG!

Altogether, a very successful rumour trawl this year I think you will agree.
