It never can be. My first activity on seeing the program is to work out which weekends towards the end of the season do not have afternoon concerts, then I have to find out about the rehearsal schedule to see when the Hall can accommodate us. (We now have to pay some attention to the rehearsals and performances of the LPC).

This year I am having a bit of a problem with the first of these questions. It looks as if the optimum date of the Prommers' Prom may have to be Sunday, 14 July (damn, I've already got another gig).
