Hello. 2005 will mark the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II. As a veteran of air raids - a small child in the 1940's - I have a dream: for a celebration of peace on the Last Night of the Proms, in which former innocent child victims of bombing raids in WWII can link arm in arm - British and German alternately - to sing for the true "Land of Hope and Glory" - a world in which peace is the ambition of all. This ideal has suffered so much since its inception, but is all we have on which we can hang our hopes. How can I begin working to realise my dream?
