As I have not yet obtained a copy of the Proms Guide I am unaware of this years environmental situation at the Albert Hall. Are we to spend yet another season hoping that one of the stewards might forget to close one of the curtains and with supreme concentration one can imagine a small currant of air is cooling ones brow. Or waiting for the Organ to be switched on with the same intent that a whiff of re-cycled air courtesy of Bach should reach one in the Arena. There have been times when I have enjoyed the musicians pages being turned when you feel that the air has "moved" in your direction.
Have the "powers that be" got their act together and got the Proms new underground Fans switched on, or will that Prommer who said he would not feel the same way about the Proms once it was comfortable and cool.
A plaque,(deliberately mispelled), on his head I say and may we enjoy our first Summer of Proms in the cool balmy air of Albert's Hall and may the fountain freeze over.
