Do we know when the pre-proms meeting is?

I agree with one of the posts above that for me one of the reasons for buying a season ticket is the knowledge that I can get a reasonable place in the gallery without having to turn up too early. This is the main benefit from having a season ticket really as I haven't yet managed to make it break even (though I did come close last year).

I suppose it depends on the number of passes sold. It will also affect the day queues as they will have less places left for them as may find they need to turn up earlier to get in.

One of the good things about the day tickets is that no matter how popular a concert is it is still possible to turn up and queue on the day (even if for some time) and get in. Selling these passes, and advertising them as they have takes something away from the normal arrangements and I think is a step in the wrong direction for the Proms
