Had another email message at the PUHP.

This one is from Peter Bluff, a producer for CBS TV working in London. He's doing a segment for US TV featuring Slatkin. "It is in effect a profile of the American conductor who will steer the 'Last Night of the Proms'" and
will air close to the end of the Proms season.

In addition to talking to Slatkin, Bluff would like "to interview some Promenaders to talk about what they think about an American taking over this oh so special job for the first time" (his quotes).

He plans to do this on the First Night, before the prommers go in for the concert, and is particularly interested in `old hands' rather than `first timers' for a short on-camera chat.

Not sure if he's seen the comments in Forum on Slatkin...
