26 points short means you got 418. No one expected much over 300. Now we have to do better. I think I am going to have to forgo the final battle as its only 20 points and concentrate on everything else. If I can get the second to last one though it would be better because of the linen.

Why did you get a gift of 800 linen?

It costs by what you said 18+11+4 = 33 weapons for 9900 + 1000 for the academy = 10900 for the military side of things but you have to spend it all in the first 6 years really. As we said you can build and staff an infantry fort for 3160 so 2 complete infantry forts are 6320 = academy 1000 = 7320 + 1200 for 4 chariots request = 8520 and leaves 2380 to either spend elsewhere or replace infantry soldiers lost. Enough money for another 17 weapons and you get 4 free. I will be very interested in how you get on. May even start over again if this seems like a better idea.
