I don't think anyone on this board is likely to mourn the end of the all-news format or even the old radio shows that air at night. The KQV most of us knew and loved has been gone for 42 years, after all. But at the very least, it's still a sad day for radio when a three-letter call and one of only three K's east of the Mississippi disappears, not to mention a locally programmed operation that employed a sizable staff.
