It took me a while to figure out how to phrase this so it doesn't come across as snarky. And I', not 100% sure I was successful. In any even, no snark is intended.

I realize it's easy to make a small fortune operating an AM radio station, as long as you start with a large fortune. When trying to make a go of it with a low powered AM station with a weak signal when the sun shines, and an even more anemic signal when it's dark out, how does the residence of the owner make any difference in attracting listeners? If any station is sending out automated programming on a monaural AM signal, how much audience is needed to get big enough numbers to sell commercials?

Is brokered time still a thing? Are there still "dollar a holler" preachers out there?
