Actually, in cases like those, it was CBS that pre-empted regular programming. But it's amusing that Grandma blamed Bill Burns, even though his remarks certainly would have suggested that he was responsible for it.

But then, Bill got blamed for a lot of things. A sixth-grade friend, for example, saw Bill on the street downtown one day and was so excited to run into his house and tell everyone that he tripped and fell on the sidewalk. In his telling, the fall was all Bill Burns; fault!
