There were on-airs like Godfrey here only they weren't as rich. The late Al Calisti at WBCW, who tramped on plenty of toes with his talk show, occasionally mentioned Davey Tyson, the former Pittsburgh radio star who was working at WHJB in Greensburg, hosting a senior citizen talk show. Calisti said that on the air, Tyson was "sweet-talkin' Davey," but off the air, Tyson was "the biggest SOB you'd ever want to meet." Part of the heritage.
