I understand how you feel I have been on different anti- depressants for years now and I have gained up to 175 and I have not changed my eating habits I eat less and it is awful, so now I am depressed over the weight and feel even more unhappy, so what do you do, risk being off the drugs and be nervous wreck and wear down so bad you scare your self? I have a daughter that is 16 that needs me. My daughter is 16 and was on Zoloft, she seemed to be great and seeing sunshine again for about the first 3 or 4 months on the drug and then it was like she just got immune to it and she went back to sleeping all the time and weight gain. I feel awful for her going trhough this too. Now the Dr. has put her on Lexapro and it has done no better at all for her, she is sleeping still with no motivation and I am scared this will make her gain weight also. Someone help us.
