 I am glad to find this message board. I too have gained weight on Prozac. I was on a diet and losing weight when I had a bad bout of depression. I was then put on Paxil. I starting gaining weight, so I switched to Prozac thinking I wouldn't gain on it. I have now gained about 10 lbs. on it. I have approx. 20 -25 lbs. on both of the medications. This is causing more depression. I don't know what to do. My psychologist won't like it if I go off of it because of the chemical imbalance. I wish I could find something that works as well as Prozac without the weight gain.
