 I, too, am glad that there are others out there and it's not just me. I, too, was started on Lexapro about two months ago after having been on Prozac, Effexor-XR and Wellbutrin. The Prozac ended up wearing off which is unfortunate as I had no weight gain with that. The Effexor and the Wellbutrin both caused weight gain even with regular exercise and watching what I ate. I thought the Lexapro would be good as I've seen so many say that it's great for NO weight gain. All in all, over the past year I have gained 25 lbs, and on my 5 foot frame, this is quite a bit.

I just saw my doc today who is now going to start Serzone, eventually titrating up to 200 mg and then gradually wean me off the Lexapro over the next couple of months. I also had severe SSRI withdrawal when going off the Effexor (I never thought I'd ever get weaned off that one), so I am worried about going off the Lexapro (an SSRI) onto the Serzone (not an SSRI), but we'll see.

If anyone has feedback about Serzone, I'd like to hear it.
