I just found this board, and Lexapro makes me sleepy too. I don't know if someone has suggested this yet, but I take it right before going to bed and it puts me right to sleep. I don't know if it makes me less tired during the day than it would if I took it in the morning, but I'm afraid to take it in the morning, because I need to function during the day. I hate this stuff. Once you start on the SSRI's, it's like a vicious circle.
