I just went off Effexor XR after 18 lbs of weight gain. WIth a background in exercise science I know about foods, etc. I continued with my same diet/exercise, increased my exercise again, and still ballooned like a buffon. This has increased my anxiety tenfold. I have just been switched to Lexapro......... I am getting scared by these messages that is going to happen with this medication!
ANy advice?
I never craved sweets or carbohydrates so do not feel that was a factor and am pretty faithful about my diet.
