As for Lexapro and appetite, you may have a valid point. However, I've been taking Lexapro for anxiety and my appetite should have decreased on Lexapro in theory as I was a binge eater when I was anxious. Even though the medication has helped a lot with anxiety, I have noticed a very significant increase in appetite and resulting weight gain. I can't say for sure that there is a direct relationship between the Lexapro and increased appetite, but I suspect that for some of us, it may in fact be the case that Lexapro has this effect.
