Lexapro has been wonderful for my panic attacks; however, i have NEVER had a problem with weight gain in 28 years and have gained approx. 20 lbs. after taking Lexapro for 6 months. My doctor says that Lexapro is not supposed to cause weight gain, but it's all i can equate the gain to. I have eaten pretty much the same as always...nothing else has changed.
