I was on Paxil CR for a month and in that time ive put on about 15 pounds - and for a person with social anxiety this does not help any! Before Paxil CR I was on buspar then prozac - no weight gain - untill Paxil CR...so for me paxil was horrible, I had increased sweating, weight gain, and tremors...I just started Lexapro for the anxiety monday june 1st.....I am hoping that I do not experience weight gain, but I seem to think that each of these SSRI's affect people differently. Dont hesitate to try an SSRI just because some people suffer side effects.....no one will respond the same way to these drugs.
