Have been taking Lexapro 10 mg. since Jan. and was assured by Dr. that it would not cause weight gain. Have been exercising and actually eating better and have noticed an overnight weight gain of almost 20lbs. The Dr. still says it is NOT Lexapro but I have decided it is. Had a similar experience with Paxil with a gain of 30lbs. in 6 mths. Am weaning off of this stuff and staying away from anymore anxiety meds. I will have to learn to de stress on my own. Being fat makes me more stressed than anything else!
