I started on Paxil in 2001 and started gaining but the side effects were too much so I switched to Lexapro and have had no side effects however I have now gained almost 50 lbs since 2001. I take it for panic disorder and am very discouraged about trying to find a new med because it has worked so well for my panic. Thank you to all who answered this question, it helps me to see that I am not alone in this wieght gain phenomena.
