I was on Paxil 25 mg for 2 years (for anxiety and depression) and it caused a 40 lb weight gain inspite of diet and exercise. I was switched to Lexapro 10 mg because the Dr said it was a "weight neutral" drug. I have gained and additional 20 lbs in the past year on Lexapro. So 60 lbs later I am trying to wean myself off of it slowly. The side effects are not fun (crying jags, insomnia, extreme tiredness).
