I stopped taking prozac in early September, I am just now starting to lose the weight. I have been dieting very strictly and working out, this weight is just so hard to lose. I will never take this medication again. I wish that my dr. had told me about this side effect. When I first started I dropped 15 lbs but then six months later I gain it back and immediately stoppped the med. I do not think by upping the dosage it will help the weight gain. I also went through being tested for thyroid etc. Best of luck to you!!! I've been taking B-Complex for about a month now and it is really helping the pms.
