Heather I am a 40 year old women that has had Panic attacks and depression since I was about 20 years old.When I was 20 there was nothing to treat it except Valium. When I was thirty I finally got on a medicine called Paxil.Great drug but I have gained 50 lbs. There is alot of medicines out there and you have to keep trying different ones until you find the one for you.Dont give up the right medicine for you is out there.I hate to tell you but my 13 year old daughter has followed in my footsteps and has panic attacks and depression just like mom.also my brother , my uncle and my grandmother all have panic attacks .I hope that you will feel better soon.
