Hello ladies, I am a 27 year old male who just realized that the Prozac was my weight gain problem!I gained weight when I first strarted prozac 20mgs while my wife was pregnant.I thought it was just sympathy weight !I lost the weight later and did not attribute it to the fact I stopped taking prozac.Now about 8 months ago we were going through a nasty divorce,and I began taking it again at 40 mgs.Let's put it this way-I use to have a six pack for abs,now I have a KEG!LOL.And much like you ladies I tried rigorous excercise,cutting out soft drinks and red meat,drinking nothing but water,and eating mUCH healthier,but to no avail.I actually gained weight using the old eat more in less amounts to train your metabolism to speed up!It was as if the Prozac seen the signal for my body to speed up and was counteracting it!I have not been diagnosed with any disorders,I only took it to reduce stress and ulcers.However,I am now getting ready to stop cold turkey.So if you see any headlines about a guy going crazy and doing something really crazy in South Carolina here in a few months....don't do that!*!*
