Hello to all of you who have gained weight with Prozac....it was so insidious! I, as you all may have experienced, thought it was from overeating or under exercising...I started taking it in '90 as size 10-12-14 typical weight fluctuation for most women but found myself 200+ about 3-4 years later....very very atypical for me.....I did loose the weight with running and exercise but I didn't connect the lowered dose of prozac with that success.....now I have decided to stop taking it for other reasons and after reading these messages I am more convinced than ever my strange out of character weight gain was due to Prozac....it is supposed to make you feel better but I spent the better part of 5 years fat and miserable!!!now I am off of it because I don't think you solve problems when taking this "happy" pill....it makes you complacent not to mention fat!!!! good luck to all!
