It was great to see these messages - I began taking prozac a year ago and have gained 20 pounds in the last year - I attributed it to being 39, etc. but I know that I have not changed my eating or exercise habits all that much! It seems that doctors should recognize that this seems to be a very common side effect and should warn people about the weight gain. I too, am going to stop taking it. Have a call in to my doctor to see if there is a "good" way to stop! Hopefully my metabolism is not changed permanently!
