Up until two weeks ago I was taking 20mg of paxil. I gained about 10 pounds and have not been able to take it off, even after intense workouts and eating healthy. I have read over and over from others on the web who are suffering from the same side effects of taking andidepressants. Obviously weight gain IS associated with these drugs, a side effect the pharmaceutical companies are suppressing. I have read that taking these drugs can affect the liver making if very difficult to lose weight. I have also read that taking omega 3 fatty acids like fish oil together with vitamin e up to 3x a day can help to boost the bodies ability to loose weight. I have been taking these vitamins for four days now and am anxious to see the results. I have been so frustrated working out now for two months and have seen no results when it comes to the scale. I will update if these viamins prove to benefit my weight loss efforts. Good luck and let me know if there are any other helpful hints in dealing with this problem.
