 Hi my name is Allison, I have been on prozac for 8 years and altogeather have gained 50lbs not a happy camper, I am trying to reduce my dose at the moment but I am scared about the side effects of getting off, I am down to 10mg a day now and my mood is glum! have seen a small weight loss but I am coming off the prozac very slowly because I have been on it for so long but I agree with everyone it does make you gain weight, I wish the doc had warned me about this when I started taking it!!.
