Date Posted: 09:23:57 10/09/03 Thu Members of Hong Kong Kendo Association (HKKA) are saddened by the passing away of Ando Kozo sensei, on Oct 9th,2003 in Japan. Ando Sensei's passing is a great loss for us all. However, and especially because we admired him so much, we can see that he lived with full conviction, honorably, and just in the manner that he though best. For this reason, even though I feel loss at his absence, we realize that he lived as well as anyone could hope to do: In the truest sense, according to my values, he "won" the challenge of life. HKKA acknowledge with gratitude his contribution to Hong Kong kendo society. He will be sadly missed by his family, relatives and friends. May Lord rest his soul in peace.
