Subject: Pileated, etc. at Secor Park; Airport Rough-leg

Sunday, Jan. 18: A light-phase Rough-legged Hawk was hovering over the west end of the Toledo Express Airport.
At Secor Metropark a female Pileated Woodpecker was seen in the forest across from the first (southmost) parking area on Tupelo Road. The feeding operation at the Secor Nature Center is also worth watching for Eastern Towhee, Fox Sparrow, Purple Finch, and numerous White-throated Sparrows.
