Subject: Gray Fox in Perrysburg

While nosing around Buttonwood fishing access for any signs of bird life, I found a gray fox hiding in the large corn field west of the access road. It let me get close enough to pick up the field marks, which I confirmed against some photos - including Greg's of Mr. Stewart's foxes. Buttonwood is off River Rd. where it meets Hull Prarie Rd. In keeping with this board's mission, there were several Carolina Wrens in the woods and little else.

This has been a fox news alert.
