Last year’s media day was far more informative than today’s.
Last year’s key points:
Brown wants to play fast on both sides of the ball.
Cornell’s Jameson Wang was to improve as a drop back passer.
Columbia plans on utilizing a vertical pass attack.
Dartmouth’s Nick Howard wants to become a better passer. The defense wants contain the opposing running game by having linebackers to seal off the and the same with the passing game by the Cornerbacks closing off the defensive backfield edge.
Harvard’s Tim Murphy said he may use up to three quarterbacks and they’ll be regularly running the ball.
Penn wanted to improve on downfield passing.
Princeton touted their strength and conditioning program and will continue to play physical.
Yale Coach Reno said there was holes to fill on the defensive and offensive lines.

Today’s media day highlights:
Dartmouth, Penn, Princeton and Yale had nothing useful to say.

Brown by far was the best highlight of this media conference.

Brown Coach Perry said he’ll need 7 WR’s, 3 RB’s and 9 O-Lineman to continue with the uptempo offense.

Cornell Coach Dan Swanstorn seemed to indicate he’s not sure what to expect . He went on to say we’ll have to wait until we play Colgate.

Columbia Coach Jon Poppe mentioned the importance of special teams and said a team that blocks a punt has a 90% chance to win.

Harvard Coach Aurich said he’ll stick with splitting the Quarterback spot with Charles DePrima and Jayden Craig. He praised both Quarterbacks athletic ability. Running Back Shane McLaughlin will be the team captain. Looks like Harvard will stick with its run oriented Shotgun offense.

Since there is three novice Ivy coaches there was a little more emphasis on their backgrounds. I guess that’s the reason why the teams didn’t go in-depth on the upcoming season.
