I hope that Coach Reno makes a full recovery. He did an outstanding job leading the Bulldogs program.

It is sad to reflect that four of the Ivy Coaching legends recently have retired due to health issues: Tim Murphy of Harvard, Al Bagnoli of Penn and Columbia. Buddy Teevens of Dartmouth and Tony Reno of Yale. Each of them are profoundly missed at their respective schools.

Whatever the situation Coach Reno is facing, I hope it's temporary and Wish him the best on his next endeavor.

This is much worse than expected. I was expecting the staff to run the program in the off season with the expectation that Coach Reno would return in the fall. For him to step down in February this is a major health concern. Prayers up

I am glad that Coach Tony and son Dante got to share a special season together before this turn of events changed plans.

Best wishes to Coach Reno and his family. You've left Yale football better than you found it.

Gentlemen; Our blue has lost a true leader of a resurgent football program under his tenure. My thoughts and prayers to coach Reno and his family.

God d--n, this makes me sad. Of course I have deep sympathy for Coach Reno and his family. As I noted last fall just from watching on television and with no other information, it very much looks like he has suffered a stroke. It will be a long road back and I wish his family and he all strength and courage for that challenge.

More broadly, he's only 52. That makes me pause, for sure.

None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, gentlemen.

Never forget to count your blessings on a very regular basis. Keep what you consider your problems in the proper context and perspective. And live each day to the best of your ability. We're only here for a short time.
