My son is a current Ivy player (defensive) and when he was being recruited he sent out emails and game film to all of the Ivies. He was contacted and recruited by all of the schools but Columbia and Cornell. My question is how is it that Penn, who is consistently one of the top defenses in the league, made an early offer to my son and Columbia showed absolutely no interest at all? Is Columbia missing out on athletes because they choose other schools or are they just overlooking talent that other staffs recognize?
