Huh? Granted not all sports are equally easy to recruit, and football recruiting is somewhat unique. And yes,while Cornell is a fine institution, Harvard, Yale, and Princeton have greater prestige and more generous aid packages. But look at Cornell's record in track, lacrosse, hockey, wrestling, even basketball lately. It has an advantage versus Harvard, Yale, and Princeton under the Academic Index, and lately has changed its financial aid policies to be more competitive as well.
So Cornell has some disadvantages, but some advantages as well. Its disadvantages against Yale have not prevented it from beating Yale nor have Princeton's advantages enabled it to avoid being blown out by Columbia, or to beat Brown, or possibly anyone else this year.
