Yesterday the House Committee on Education and Workforce voted to move forward with a bill that would ban athletes from being deemed as employees of any school , conference or NCAA. I didn’t see any discussion of the NAIA but I assume it’s implied. This motion is likely to be forwarded to the house floor. Will this affect Dartmouth Men’s Basketball. Since they unionized aren’t they considered “employees “ of their local union?

My understanding is that the regional NLRB's office's approval is on appeal and probably will be overturned. Obviously, the Biden Administration is notoriously pro-union so even if the legislation in question passes the House it probably will be rejected by the Senate or vetoed by Biden if he is re-elected.
