Columbia defeats Harvard on the road, 58-55. Two games—the first with Susie Rafiu anchoring the Lions in which they blasted off to a 20-3 lead, and the second after Rafiu was injured in which the hosts clawed back to tie things up before Columbia won it in the last two minutes.

That was a great game. Both teams showed grit and determination, down to the wire.
Sorry about Raifu's injury; looked serious.

Wish I could say the same about the men. We did not look like the same team that beat Cornell on the road a few days ago and scored 103 points. We were outplayed in every aspect of the game. Harvard played a great game and shot exceptionally well from the 3 point line, where we were just plain awful even when we had open looks.

Guys on the basketball board said that Columbia didn't have their best player against Harvard.

Of course, Dartmouth was in a similiar boat against Cornell and it didn't bother us.

That’s right. Two of our five starters have been out with injuries for several weeks.
