The Cornell defense played Brown very tough in the first half, but ultimately we're not running the ball (39 net yards rushing), thus leaving the defense on the field too long. Like I have said many times in recent years, Cornell should have implemented a new offense four years ago after All-Ivy QB Ryan Kuhn graduated. It was a brilliant move going to the spread when Kuhn ran it along with Luke Siwula who both ran for over 1,000 yards that season. HOWEVER, it has not been worked well ever since.

Look, we're not West Virginia or Mississippi! This is a tough offensive formation to block from for our O-line. We need an offense that will work well for Ivy/Patriot League games. Go Big Red!

Yesterday I thought Liuzza played very well at quarterback. He was shifty and when he threw, he threw well. My question is why didn't they build their offense around him? A good quarterback is essential to success. Furthermore, a good QB gives the team the confidence needed for success.
