In reply to: Penn Nation 's message, "Re: Who is your pick to win the FCS Championship" on 05:13:12 12/12/25 Fri

Villanova rallies to upset #4 seed Tarleton State.

Don't look now, but we could be headed for a championship final between the two FCS teams which knocked out our two teams, Montana State and 'Nova.

The further Villanova gets, the better the Patriot League looks. 'Nova is joining the Patriot League for football next year, as is William & Mary. This year, Colgate, W&M, and Lehigh all played credibly against 'Nova (they each lost by 7 points). Patriot League credibility helps the Ivy League as well.

In other Ivy-adjacent football news, Johns Hopkins has now won three games in the Division 3 playoffs and is in the semifinals. Wonder how they would fare against a weak Ivy.
