Today Brown hockey lost to Union 6-0 and thus ended their season. Hopefully this dreadful loss will also end the equally dreadful tenure of Coach Whittet. For too many seasons to count it has been one losing campaign after another. I am old enough to remember when Brown was a factor in the ECAC and Meehan was filled with fans, but for more than 30 years Brown has been pretty much among the worst teams in the league. What makes matters even worse is that Whittet does not take his losses with class. He constantly talks about all of the injuries. Who wants to hear it?? Injuries are part of the sport, at least lose with some class. In fairness to the alumni, fans (if any remain), and most of all the players, it is time to make a change. Or to put it another way, what harm could it do???
